Prey 2 is the second part of the story about aliens, Prey, which was released in 2017. Its next edition has all chances to become a great success: hostile aliens, a wide array of weapons, and dramatic fights create a standard set, typical for commercially profitable gaming products.
According to its demo, Prey 2 is full of interesting missions, which the main character should complete to win the game. However, a victory isn’t the major thing here: its science-fiction genre and realistic representation make gamers take the full advantage of playing and enjoying every moment when they face aliens.
Prey’s 2 plot and gameplay – a fresh story about the alien invasion
The second part’s plot is tightly connected with its predecessor in terms of the story. The first version tells us about Typhon, a group of aliens who have to be caught and put into prison. Prey players can use a lot of features in the game: to choose between genders, different weapons, and abilities to conquer these space creatures.
As for Prey 2, this version narrates about Killian Samuels, a military man who fights against alien creatures on their unusual planet. Then the hero becomes a real hunter who is going to bravely kill all the planet inhabitants. It is important to know that Mr. Samuels has lost his memory and can’t recollect the adventures that led him to this mysterious planet. He feels lonely on it and considers himself the only person there. Later, the main hero remembers everything and goes on with his war against ominous strangers.
Prey 2: a release date is worthy to wait for
Unfortunately, Prey fans won’t be able to test the second part of the game. Prey 2 was unexpectedly canceled by its publishers. At first, the project was passed on to another developer; however, it didn’t help the situation. The official representatives announced that the game didn’t satisfy their requirements and they didn’t want to continue with it.
The planned 2012 launch wasn’t carried out. The shooter creators said that they would like to make some changes to the game, which could influence the initial project plan. After some time, Bethesda, an American game publisher who was responsible for it, announced that the game release was canceled. There isn’t any possible way to download or play it, even on an emulator.
Prey 2 – the game which could become a best seller
It goes without saying that the shooter can become a good continuation for its 1st part. The charismatic hero and his exciting fights against aliens could bring much success and profit to the developers. There are several reasons for the game to become a best seller:
- a fresh and interesting story with unexpected turns;
- a lot of functional features which make the gameplay dynamic;
- a consistent storyline which makes players percept the game as a real serial;
- users play the game from the first-person point of view and it makes the playing process more realistic.
