According to the casino.org website, online 3% of people in the USA play games of chance on the Internet. This is compared to 17% of online gamblers in the UK. This number, however, may change with the legalization of iGaming in many US states.
Half of Macau profits come from the gambling industry
Often called the Las Vegas of the East, Macau is a special administrative region of China that permits gambling. Australia is one the countries, where people gamble the most. In 2018, 80% of adult Australians admitted they have participated in games of chance at least once in a year. Such avid attitude toward games of chance, however, leads to substantial losses as well. In 2017, Australians lost $18.4 billions on games of chance in total.
The other fun fact about Australia is that 20% of all registered slots are placed there.
