Daniela Zelená

GBC Time has interviewed – Daniela Zelená, Event Manager at Endorphina, a B2B software provider used by some of the most successful operators from the igaming industry decades. Daniela talked about the peculiarities of event preparation, such as IGB LIVE 2024.

How long have you been in the market? What markets do you operate in?

Our passion for creating online slots began in 2012, and we have been dedicated to it ever since.

We aim to develop unique, player-centered games that add personality and depth to the gaming experience. By focusing on what players enjoy, we strive to make our games engaging and memorable.

We are now present in 24 markets and are continuously expanding!

iGB Live! 2024 is just around the corner, and your company is known for its unique approach to booths. What surprises do you have in store for visitors this time?

We are thrilled to share that our booth will take on a Wild Wild West theme this year.  There, you will see Endorphina’s cowgirl Vickie neon sign. Our friendly team will be there to answer your questions, like sheriffs keeping an eye on things in the saloon.

But that’s not all! We have a big surprise in our cowboy hats: our brand new online scratching game, WANTED!, designed just for iGB visitors. Play WANTED, and you could win a PS5 Slim as the main prize.

Want to learn even more?  Come and visit us at booth 12-E72, or follow us on social media!

What are your expectations for the upcoming event? Is it more about networking or promotion for you?

iGB Live is a fantastic opportunity for both networking and promotion. I’m personally looking forward to meeting interesting people, engaging in conversation, and showcasing our brand. Of course, we also want to have some fun while we’re at it – who knows what exciting connections and opportunities might arise.

The event is a great chance to broaden your horizons, connect with a diverse range of people, and learn from each other’s experiences.  I’m always excited to see what new trends and ideas are bubbling up across the industry.

Share three life hacks for a successful event.

There are plenty of tips for a successful event, but here are the three I consider the most important:

Plan Ahead: Use a checklist and timeline to stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Surround yourself with positive, encouraging colleagues. A strong team ensures a smooth event.

Make it Memorable: Offer unique experiences or giveaways that leave a lasting impression.

Being an event manager requires constant presence and can be quite stressful. How do you stay motivated and avoid burnout in such a fast-paced industry?

Event life can be wild, and maintaining motivation and avoiding burnout can be challenging.

That is why I am trying to prioritize Work-Life Balance. I set clear boundaries between work and personal time, ensuring I take breaks and enjoy activities outside of work. I make sure to carve out personal time to recharge, whether through hobbies, exercise, or just relaxing with loved ones.

Another thing that keeps me alive is celebrating wins (big or small)! Feeling accomplished keeps the fire lit.

Finally, staying organized and practicing self-care are my go-to strategies for keeping my energy and focus sharp.
