Ivan Kraynov, co-founder of Boomerang Partners, investor, and innovation leader, became the hero of the latest 10th anniversary edition of SiGMA Europe Magazine. This issue is timed to coincide with the SiGMA Europe 2024 Malta conference, which will be held November 11-14 with the participation of Boomerang Partners. In the interview, Ivan discusses the company’s impressive business growth, evolving industry trends, and development of its affiliate program.
Reflecting on Boomerang’s business journey, Kraynov remarked on significant developments, partnerships with top sports clubs and influencers: ‘The betting component of our business has grown 5 times in the last year, and the gambling segment — 2 times. We launched new products covering 25 GEOs, partnered with AC Milan and Alisha Lehmann.’ These points really defined Boomerang Partners’ focus on sports betting traffic this year and plans for the future.
He emphasized the company’s dedication to strategic growth, adding, ‘Our approach is all about staying ahead of the game, and we do this by leveraging data analytics and aligning with global trends. By focusing on these trends and continuously expanding our product offerings, we’re not just keeping up; we’re setting the pace and delivering what our global audience is looking for.’
Regarding emerging trends, Kraynov shared insights into industry transformations: ‘The answer lies in the shift toward mobile gaming, the integration of blockchain for secure and transparent transactions, and the booming popularity of mini-games like crash games that keep users engaged. At the same time, more and more countries are moving away from international licenses in favor of national regulations, creating fresh opportunities in emerging markets across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. It’s an exciting time filled with possibilities. But it is important to be sensitive to the moment.’
Speaking about the development of the Boomerang Partners program, Ivan Kraynov said: ‘We see our affiliate program, Boomerang Partners, as more than just business — it’s about building genuine, long-lasting partnerships. We believe that transparency, mutual respect, and trust are the foundations of any successful collaboration. Last year was a huge leap forward. We paid out over €50 million to our partners and welcomed over 15,000 new deposits each month.
