Antonio Esfandiari at 2012 WSOP Event 55 ($18,346,673)
The first name on our list is also the biggest winner in the WSOP. In 2012 Antonio Esfandiari won a grand total of 18 346 673, a number that’s still unmatched to this date. He’s also won more in total (over multiple WSOP) than any other player.
In addition to being a professional poker player, Antonio is also a former magician. He also used to be the face of UltiamtePoker.com, the first legal and regulated poker website in the USA. Antonio has also authored a poker strategy book named The Magician’s Secrets for Winning Tournaments.
Daniel Negreanu’s all-time winnings $19 550 955
It would be hard to make a list of the biggest winners in WSOP history without mentioning Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu is the second biggest total winner in history, after Antonio Esfandiari. Jamie Gold at 2006 WSOP Main Event ($12 000 000)
Jamie Gold is famous for his win of $12 000 000 at the WSOP main event. Unfortunately, though, that was his only big win in the WSOP. Overall, he’s ranked down at 9th place for total all-time winnings.
Besides poker, he’s been successful in other areas, including being a TV producer and a talent agent. He’s also the younger brother of Doug Gold, a retired broadcaster and author. Jamie has also been active in philanthropy for over ten years and has worked on close to 300 celebrity charity events.
Dan Colman at 2014 WSOP Event 57 ($15 306 668)
Dan Colman is an American professional poker player known for winning 15 306 668 at the 2014 WSOP. In terms of all-time winnings, he’s ranked third on the list. The 2014 game was a memorable one, where he beat Daniel Negreanu for the top prize.
Colman was primarily known for playing online poker. He often went by mrGR33N13 or riyyc225. Online poker has proved to be an excellent way for players to improve their game. He’s won several other poker tournaments and, in 2014 was awarded the BLUFF player of the year award. His all-time winnings are above $28 900 000.
Hossein Ensan at 2019 WSOP Main Event ($10 000 000)
Hossein Ensan is well known for winning $10 000 000 in the WSOP main event in 2019. Ensan moved to Germany in 1989 when he was 25 from his home country of Iran. He worked various small jobs to support his family and was able to eventually start his own taxi service.
Ensan didn’t start his poker career until he was 39, which is considered a little older than usual. Before his big win in 2019, he had won several other smaller events, including one in the Czech Republic in 2017. He’s ranked 12th in terms of total earnings in the WSOP.
