Ecommpay has added a new feature that will allow merchants to collect recurring PayPal payments from customers alongside subscription card payments and direct debits.
It is reported that the integration will allow merchants operating on a subscription basis to connect PayPal subscription payments through Ecommpay.
Thus achieving the effect desired by many – all in one platform.
Arthur Ribakovs, Head of Financial Partnerships at Ecommpay, said, “Our priority is always to make online payments as smooth as possible so that our clients can grow their businesses. So, we are excited to be offering these capabilities for one of the most popular digital wallets. This is the next step in strengthening our strategic relationship with PayPal and allowing us to assist more merchants whose business model is based on subscriptions.”
Keen to expand its already extensive list of payment methods and take advantage of PayPal’s capabilities, Ecommpay has already implemented the additional feature for its existing customers and is ready to use it.
Vincent Belloc, Senior Vice President for PayPal UK, said, “We are delighted to provide added value and opportunities to Ecommpay’s clients. Small businesses face a myriad of challenges, from finding new customers and managing cash flow to driving sales. Putting customer preference at the heart of the payment and providing shoppers more choices in how they can pay can help turn prospects into customers and grow sales.
The interesting trend of PayPal penetrating ever deeper into Europe continues.
